Why so idle for so long?

What's happening? I emailed you alot of ebooks for uploading. eBooks i sent were mostly from Paulo Coelho and Nicholas Sparks. It's my way of showing my appreciation for drinkmalk. I hope you'll upload them soon. I'm sure the others will appreciate it too. Thanks a bunch!

The reason S1G has locked the

The reason S1G has locked the request forum is that he is in the process of moving (read here for more information). I am well aware that it has been a while since S1G has posted books up, but that is how things work. He will be back when he gets back, and I am sure that he will start uploading books now that he does not have to do much of the converting (thanks Dardonardo!).

I could open the request forum, but that would be unfair to a few people. First, it would be unfair to S1G (don't want to make him angry, you won't like him when he's angry...) It would be unfair to S1G because, well, he is not here to put books up, and if I were to open the forum to requests, that would put a bunch of work on his plate. As I am sure many of you have noticed, there are absolutely no ads on Drinkmalk, and S1G does not, and as far as I know will not start receiving donations to cover the cost of Drinkmalk. In other words, 100% of the server hosting costs come out of his pocket.

Secondly, it would be unfair to the requester. The book that you are requesting would go un-uploaded (is that a word...?) for however long it takes for S1G to return. As a side note here, it is unnecessary for people to do what this person did. That is not going to help get your request filled, and I think it goes without saying that I did not look for "Dirk Pitt Series."

Thirdly, it would be unfair to Dardonardo. If people actually do have lists of books they want to request, it would bury him.

I think that is about all I wanted to say. Also, please, keep in mind that I am merely explain to yourself, and the countless others who undoubtedly have the same question as to why there are no books being uploaded. We sincerely appreciate the time you took to email S1G books. Once again, this is not me getting angry at you or anybody else. I am well aware that it is difficult to judge tones on the internet, and want to make sure you understand this.

Sorry about that. No offense intended. It's just tha i have a lot of friends waiting for new uploads, particularly the ebooks that i emailed to S1G. Thank you for your response. I respect and appreciate this. xxoo

use stanza desktop

If you and your friends are really impatient to start reading a book, just open it in Stanza desktop and transfer it to the device that way (you can tell your friends the same thing). That's what I do when I want to read something right away, and it's pretty easy....
